Kaduna

An activist, Comr. Steven Kefas has alleged that the Kaduna state government lied about the rescue of 10 abductees from the Staff quarters of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Kaduna airport by security.

According to him, a brother to one of the abductees said the families actually paid ransoms to the terrorists.

In a series of tweets on Monday, the activist wrote, “After we paid 4m for my sister and her daughter, they were released by the gunmen & on their way back from captivity, the Military took them to the Government house” Murtala Yusuf brother to Badiatu Gambo reveals.

“The state government had earlier told the world that the 10 abductees were rescued by security forces which is not true as the families said they paid ransoms.

Recall that on March 6, unknown gunnmen broke into the staff quarters of the nearby Kaduna airport, abducting 10 people, according to airport officials.
