Innjoo, TD unleash slimmest, most cost-effective notebook

Admin February 23, 2017

The Innjoo Leap Mobile, a Dubai-based telecommunications company, in conjunction with Technology Distributions Limited, a member of Zinox Group, has introduced to the West Africa market the world’s slimmest laptop which also doubles as the  most cost-effective laptop with an incredibly long battery life of up to 10 hours.  Called the Injoo Leap the notebook is described as “Light, thin and stylish.”

Country Manager of Innjoo, Mr. Rocque Rakesh who introduced the device to a handful of ICT journalists in Lagos said besides physical appeal, the 14-inch screen laptop with high resolution is most suitable for office use.

The Leap notebook is also the best for these times especially as Nigeria grapples with the reality of recession.  Nothing about quality has been compromised and it sells for as low as between N90,000 and N100,000 in the retail shops.

On the technical attractiveness of the device, Rakesh said Innjoo Mobile removed unwarranted applications that clog other brands – for example, use of memory cards – with a view to reducing the cost of production and still deliver a high quality product at a lower cost. All these technical and physical features, he said, make the device both pocket and user-friendly.

The laptop rates among the five top brands on the international market, even though it has been in circulation for only three years. Mr. Rocque said that its use of Windows 10 also makes it very compatible with similar devices. He assured of his company’s readiness to provide necessary technical back-up within short notice.

The Managing Director (Sales) of Technology Distributions Ltd, Mrs. Chioma Chimere, said that the product, which her company commands sole distributorship in West Africa, will be available for sale nationwide from next week. She is optimistic that with its elegant appeal and ruggedness, it will find a strong foothold in the Nigerian market.
