Huge crowd welcomes Peter Obi to Plateau; LP candidate visits Gbong Gwom Jos

Jos crowd for Peter Obi

The presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi campaign trail was warmly welcomed to Plateau state, North Central, Nigeria by a huge crowd of cheering supporters.

The crowd was a mix of the young and old, students, business people, artisans who chanted his name as they marched through the streets and roads.

The former Anambra State governor also visited the Gbong Gwom of Jos Jacob Gyang Buba at his palace.

While addressing the monarch, Obi said he has advised donor agencies in his recent trips abroad to stop giving Nigeria aid.

He said Nigeria is capable of being a great nation with the right leadership.

The LP flagbearer was accompanied by his running mate Datti Baba-Ahmed, the party’s National Chairman Julius Abure, and a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation Babchir Lawal among others.
