Who is after Ibrahim Magu, the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC? In less than one year, gunmen have made two attempts at his life but failed. The latest happened Tuesday night in Abuja. The unidentified gunmen attacked a house located within a farm owned by Mr. Magu in Karshi, a suburb of Abuja.
The incident occurred about 10 p.m. on Tuesday and the attackers were confronted by security men attached to the house. Perhaps sensing that their target was not around, the gunmen were said to have taken their anger on the security personnel in the area.
They beat up a police officer and another civilian working on the property and tied them. The policeman was said to have later died as he was clobbered all over his body and head region. Details later.
