Gunmen abduct Shari’a Court judge in Katsina; motive unknown

Unidentified gunmen have continued to unleash terror in the land, this time abducting a judge at a Shari’a Court in Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State.

Gunmen have consistently caused mayhem in the state, sacking and killing residents of communities and abducting Emirs.

The judge identified as Alhaji Husaini Sama’ila was said to have been kidnapped  about 3:00 pm Tuesday while on a visit to the court located between two villages in Safana local government council. By press time, the abductors were yet to establish contact with members of the judge’s family.
