Five NAF officers killed in road traffic accident

Five Nigerian Air Force (NAF) officers were on Tuesday killed in a road traffick accident.

NAF made the announcement in a statement on Tuesday, by it spokesperson, Olusola Akinboyewa.

According to the statement, the gallant personnel who were involved in a tragic accident on 22 October 2024. which occurred around Hawan Kibo along the Jos-Akwanga Express Road, were heading for a sporting event in Abuja.

“Their vehicle was involved in a collision with an oncoming truck and consequently, statutory administrative protocols applicable in such circumstances as this have been activated by the NAF to provide
comfort and succor to the bereaved families”  the statement reads.

“We appeal to the public to respect the privacy of the victims’ families during
this difficult time and to refrain from sharing unverified details. May their
souls rest in perfect peace.
