The Acting Governor of Adamawa State Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Fintiri has emerged the winner of the PDP primaries for the October 11th, 2014 governorship bye-election.
Fintiri won with 624 votes, while Dr. Modibbo came a distant second with 197 votes.
Against popular expectation, Retired Brigadier General Buba Marwa got 54 votes, while Dr. Arod and Jery Kundisi scored nine and four votes respectively. Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Oladimeji Bankole who announced the result about 4.03am Sunday morning said 23 votes were invalid.
