#ENDSARS: SANWO-OLU ORDERS POLICE TO RELEASE ALL ARRESTED PROTESTERS

Sanwo-Olu raises hope on Covid-19

Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu

The Lagos state government says the Police has released all those arrested during the #ENDSARS protests following the directives of Governor.

This was contained in a statement by the State government on Twitter on Monday.

This is coming after some protesters were said to have been arrested and detained while protesting in some parts of the State.

Accordig to the statement, 6 individuals were released as follows: Nkemakolam Okpara Felicia, female. (27 years); Nduka Treasure Chiamaka, female (21 years); Adefila Olanrewaju, male; Adeola Adebayo, male; Ayodeji Ayeni, male; and Adebola Ojabodu.

The State government however reiterated the need for youths to reciprocate the gesture by shunning further protests and allowing the government to take steps to resolve the situation that sparked the protests.
