There was a suicide bombing in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State this morning where five people were killed from the explosion with more than 20 other victims injured.
The Director of Media and Publicity to Yobe State Governor, Abdullahi Bego confirmed that the dead have been evacuated to mortuary while the injured victims are currently being attended to by health and emergency workers.
Meanwhile, security personnel have cordoned the area.
