E-money in EFCC net over alleged currency abuse

E-money

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested socialite E-Money ( real name is Emeka Okonkwo)  over alleged currency abuse.

E-Money, now in EFCC custody in Abuja was arrested in the Omole area of Lagos State.

EFCC sources he was nabbed for naira and dollar abuse as he was recently seen in a viral video spraying naira and dollar notes at a public event.

E-money who is the Chief Executive Officer of Emmy Cargoes Nigeria Limited and Five Star Music was said to have violated Nigeria’s Foreign Exchange (Monitoring and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act.

E-money  adds to the list of Nigerians arrested for currency abuse. They include Lagos Mummy (Bobrisky), singer Terry Apala and others mostly socialites.
