Dangote Group Wednesday unveiled its new products, BlocMaster Cement, Stew mix and Curry powder to the delight of visitors at the ongoing Lagos International Trade Fair (LITF).

Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Group, said during Dangote Special Day at the fair that the new products resulted from years of intensive research to meet the ever-changing needs of consumers.

Represented by Mr Josiah Moemeke, Sales Manager, Dangote Cement, Africa’s richest man said that Dangote Cement, which controls about 65 per cent of Nigeria’s cement market, would keep evolving products that would promote the cement industry and the economy.

“Dangote Blocmaster is strong and affordable, has been tested and approved to mold more blocks and aid durable building projects,” he said.

Dangote urged Nigerians to adopt the new cement for all their construction projects.

Also, Ms Oluwatoni Odewale, Category Manager, NASCON Allied Products Plc (a subsidiary of Dangote Ltd), said that the introduction of Dangote Stew mix and Curry powder would enrich the meals of many families.

She said that the products were fortified with vitamins and minerals that would promote healthy and nutritious meals.

Odewale said that visitors to the group’s pavilion at the fair would purchase the products and other brands of the company at a discounted prices.

Earlier, Mr Babatunde Ruwase, President of LCCI, said that Dangote was a success story that continues to make the country proud, not just locally but globally.

He urged the Federal Government to address the challenges confronting the manufacturing sector ranging from high interest rate, insecurity, power challenge, poor road network and issues at the nation’s port.

Ruwase added that the government should improve the business environment toward attracting more investments and making the environment conducive for businesses to thrive.
