Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed
The Federal Government it is prepared to take necessary measures for contact tracing to stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus in the country.
Addressing a press conference in Abuja, the minister for information and culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed noted that the Federal Government may be forced to employ the services of security operatives to trace contacts.
He urged people who just returned to the country to willingly submit themselves for proper check so that contact tracing can be done.
He however said that Nigerians should brace up for tougher measures in the efforts to curtail the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
This is coming after the country recorded it’s first death, Monday and cases rising to 36.
