Special Assistant on New Media to President Muhammadu Buhari, Lauretta Onochie, has bombed Senator Dino Melaye over allegation that he did not graduate from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. This followed allegation that the Senator representing Kogi West did not graduate from the said university as he could not pass some courses that would have qualified him to be awarded a degree certificate.
The Presidential aide noted that Melaye’s behaviour in the Senate attested to his alleged lack of certificate.
In a tweet, on Monday, Madam Onochie also posted a picture of Melaye in tattered cloth after he was involved in a bruising fight on the floor of the House of Representatives in 2010. Mr. Melaye was among the lawmakers who had tell-tale signs to remember the free for all fight in the House in which furniture and other available materials in the chamber were deployed to maximum use.
She wrote, “So the claim that Sen. Dino Melaye graduated from Ahmadu Bello University {ABU}, is not true? No wonder!”
She said the allegation probably explained the fight the Senator had on the floor of the lower house of the National Assembly. Onochie has been vocal in attacking critics of President Buhari especially in the online space.
