President Muhammadu Buhari has hosted behind closed doors the national Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Tinubu’s visit caught many State House unawares as there was no prior notice of his visitation but aso Rock insiders said it was just a visit to exchange New Year pleasantries with the President.

Tinubu is highly rumoured to run for the 2023 Presidential election and to give reality to the rumour, many groups have been formed to push through his ambition.

The APC chieftain was said to have discussed sundry national issues with the President but talks were also said to have centred on their party, the APC, which is still haunted by factional politics in some states.
