BREAKING: Liam Rosenior to pocket $32.4 million after Chelsea sack

CHELSEA have finally sacked Liam Rosenior less than four months (107 days) into his six-year contract. This followed series of losses that have brought the club to all time low in over 100 years.

He pockets approximately $32.4 million (£24 million), covering the remaining years of his contract that runs up to 2032.

The Blues were spanked 3-0 at Brighton on Tuesday night with Stamford Bridge big wigs and leaders Behdad Eghbali, Paul Winstanley, Joe Shields and Laurence Stewart all in attendance.

Shortly after losing to Brighton on Tuesday, fans were seen chanting ‘we want our Chelsea back’ to the dismay of the players.

In a statement the club said: “Chelsea Football Club has today parted company with Head Coach Liam Rosenior.

“On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, we would like to place on record our gratitude to Liam and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the Club.

“Liam has always conducted himself with the highest integrity and professionalism following his appointment midway through the season.

“This has not been a decision the Club has taken lightly, however recent results and performances have fallen below the necessary standards with still so much more to play for this season. Everyone at Chelsea FC wishes Liam every success in the future.”

The club also announced that Calum McFarlane will take temporary charge until the end of the campaign.
