Boko Haram members have relocated to Kogi, but I will give them hell – Gov Bello

Admin February 22, 2017

The Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has vowed to deal with Boko Haram insurgents whom he alleged have relocated to his state. He made the revelation at the seventh edition of the national security seminar in Abuja.

The governor warned that he would join forces with the military to rout the insurgents from the state.

According to Bello, “Kogi is now a haven for Boko Haram, because many of them have relocated to my state.

“Just last night, four high profile Boko Haram members were arrested in Kogi by the military.

“I want to assure them that they have chosen a wrong place to relocate, because we will never allow them.

“We will work together with the armed forces to consolidate on the victory and gains recorded in the north-east.”

Bello commended the military for defeating the insurgents in the north-east.

He noted that the government had done a lot in safeguarding lives and property and in reclaiming the territorial integrity of the country from the shackles of insurgency.
