Masked gunmen
A pall of grief pervades Lighitlubang village, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State as suspected terrorists Friday night attacked the community killing a husband, wife, and their child.
The same gang also killed another husband and wife in the midnight attack which has left the sleepy community mourning and terrified.
Plateau state and other states in North central have of late witnessed a resurgence in terror attacks after a period of abatement.
The incident is the latest in a series of attacks blamed on terrorists in the region.
The spokesman for the Plateau State Police Command, Alabo Alfred confirmed the incident, adding that security agents had been deployed to the affected community.
