BBNaija season 10 begins: Meet the first 15 contestants

The landmark Season 10 Big Brother Naija, with the theme ’10/10′, premiered on Saturday with 15 housemates including three who are over 30 years old. The rest are between 20 and 30 years.

The 15 represent half of the contestants, the rest will be introduced Sunday.

Familiar host  Ebuka Obi-Uchendu welcomed the first batch of housemates who will jostle for a historical ₦150 million grand prize.

This edition however has its own twists as Ebuka revealed that the ₦150 million prize won’t  go to one winner but would be won by different task winners.

He said that housemates must earn the prize money weekly through various tasks and Big Brother’s challenges in a rare ‘work and reward’ manner.

will shake up the game, keeping housemates alert and viewers fully engaged each week.

The 10-week season will end on Oct. 5.

Meet the housemates:

  1. Zita – 33-year-old actress from Imo State
  2. Mide – 23-year-old human lie detector
  3. Sultana – 25-year-old beautician from Adamawa State
  4. Dori – 23-year-old content creator from Ogun State
  5. Big Soso – 28-year-old chef and lawyer from Kaduna
  6. Tracy – 27-year-old from Anambra
  7. Ivatar – 37-year-old media personality and proud mom from Anambra State
  8. Sabrina – 32-year-old trained actor from Edo State
  9. Thelma Lawson – 26-year-old skincare boss and single mom from Rivers State
  10. ImisiOluwa – 23-year-old narrator and vibe manager from Oyo State
  11. Ibifubara – 28-year-old psychologist
  12. Isabella – single mom of a 14-year-old
  13. Joana – 21-year-old fashion creator from Benue
  14. Dede – 23-year-old from Delta State with big dreams
  15. Jasmine – 25-year-old from Lagos focused on her goals
