The Unify All Nigerians For Atiku-Okowa, a political support group, has described the victory of the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, at the Appeal Court, as a victory for democracy.

The group in a congratulatory message made available to members of the Press and signed by the Director General and National Coordinator, Deacon Fidelis Chimokwu, applauded the reversal of the earlier judgement by the Federal High Court, which had disqualified Rt Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on alleged discrepancies in his documents presented for the 2023 governorship primary election.

The group noted that the landmark judgement of the Appellate Court, has confirmed the legibility of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori, as the rightful candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2023 Governorship election.

“Unify All Nigerians For Atiku-Okowa, reaffirms her unwavering support for the Atiku-Okowa and all PDP candidates in the 2023 general elections. As harbingers of the unify Nigerians gospel, we call on David Edevbie to close ranks with Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and unify Deltans ahead of the 2023 general elections,” he concluded.
