APC Woman Leader Caught With Thumb Printed Ballot Boxes in Lagos

Admin March 29, 2015

APC Woman leaderEagle-eyed security operatives have arrested an All Progressives Congress, APC, Woman Leader, Chief Mrs. Basirat Olayinka Ojugbele, with boxes of thumb-printed electoral materials.

The APC Woman leader, from Ojokoro area of Lagos state, was arrested at about 12:15am in a commercial bus with registration number FKJ450XJ.

Mrs. Ojugbele who is also said to be a fabric merchant in one of the major markets in Lagos is currently cooperating with the police and providing valuable information.

The leadership of the APC is yet to react to the arrest of one of its chieftains. A call and text message sent to Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the Spokesperson of the opposition party was not responded to at the time of going to press.

A police source disclosed that the Police, based on information provided by Mrs. Ojugbele, is heading to an area he refused to disclose for security reasons, where more thumb-printed materials have been kept.

The DSS had prior to the election accused the APC in Lagos of trying to clone PVCs. Arrests were made but neither the police nor the DSS had told the public what has become of the arrests made and the investigation.
