Former Vice President and the People’s Democratic Party Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has revealed that the All Progressives Congress policy document will be dedicated primarily to creating enabling environment for Nigerian youths and women.

Atiku who disclosed this via his twitter handle @atiku said the policy which will soon be unveiled is to return the youths and women to the path of wealth creation and gainful employment while promising that “if by the grace of God, I am elected by you the good people of Nigeria, at least 40 per cent of his cabinet would be women and youths”.

He decried the fact that many Nigerians are seeking greener pastures overseas. “We designed our policies to help young people grow, stronger banks, telecoms etc. and many returned to Nigeria to start successful businesses but today, those young people are leaving again, to Canada etc. We are losing our best doctors and professionals”.

He added that Nigeria under Buhari is now the world HQ for extreme poverty. “If we are to change that, we must empower women and youths”, he said
