Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) worldwide has declared operation fire for fire against the Boko Haram terrorists.

Adeboye who prefaced his message at the July Holy Ghost Service at the RCCG Camp on Friday night declared: “From now on, it’s going to be fire for fire for Boko Haram.”

The usually taciturn pastor said “anybody who blasphemes Jesus will taste the fire of Jesus Christ.”

In a veiled reference to the recent attacks on churches, the most gruesome being the killing of scores of worshippers at a Catholic Church in Ondo state, Adeboye said that God is not against self-defence, warning the killers that Jesus is still the Commander of the host of army in heaven.

He declared that unless they repent, those who go about attacking churches and worshippers will receive a judgement of fire from God.

The July Holy Ghost Service had the theme – Complete in Jesus – with key text taken from Colossian 2: 9-10. He assured Christians that the second half of the year would be better than the first half.
