The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry (MFM) has perfected plans to hold the 2024 convention ahead of its 35th anniversary to pray for the peace and stability of Nigeria.

The General Overseer, Dr Daniel Olukoya, made this known at a news conference on Tuesday at its international headquarters, Onome-Sabo, Yaba, Lagos.

Olukoya was represented by the Assistant General Overseer, Pastor Kehinde Adegbolahan.

“This August, the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries will be 35 years old and we believe it is a landmark worthy of celebration and rejoicing, to the glory of God, who does wonders.

“What will really take the stage is the teaching of the word of God. Preaching, teachings, and other prayers and other activities that will help people to be more closer to God.

“Definitely, this programme will have great positive impacts on the nation, Nigeria as a country.

“A lot of intercessional prayers will be offered. We just want to say that you are all invited, and you will see that a lot of things will happen after this event.

“Talking about our country, there will be peace, stability, and our economy will continue to develop,” he said.

He added that there had been a lot of efforts put in place to control the crowd at the programme.

He said that there would be proper traffic management and security throughout the programme.

“All the various security arms are fully ready and we are trusting God that everything will be secured.

“Everything is fully prepared toward the convention. And we are trusting God that everything goes smoothly by the grace of God,” he said.

Speaking on the convention, Adegbolahan said the programme would be from August 16 to 18 at the Prayer City, Km 12, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

“Members of the MFM across the seven continents, those at home, and all children of God, are all expected and welcome to the three-day programme, spanning from August 16 to 18.

“Friday is for the arrival and registration of guests; Saturday is the main day, when most of the activities will be held, till the early hours of the next morning.

“There will be a thanksgiving service on Sunday to thank God for His kindness to the ministry in the past 35 years,” he said.

He added that God had really manifested Himself in the lives of the MFM members, adding that there had been outstanding testimonies.

“God has used the ministry to bless so many other believers who have been sharing outstanding testimonies to God’s kindness.

“A lot of preparations have gone into the entire Prayer City, to make it wear a new look and accommodate larger number of participants.

“We are using this opportunity to invite everyone to come and celebrate Jesus Christ with us, in consonance with the biblical observation of Jacob in Genesis 28, verse 16, which says surely, God is in this place,” he said.(NAN)
