3 policemen help stranded commuter change car tyre, reject N3,000 tip

A Twitter user has narrated how three policemen helped his stranded friend change his tyre on the highway and refused an appreciation gift of N3,000 offered by the friend.

The three policemen were listed as officers Tunmise, Daudu and Michael  from Dugbe police station, Ibadan.

According to the Twitter user who copied Police spokespersons and media houses, the friend had a flat tyre along Iseyin-Ibadan highway, and the jack was bad. The freind got no help as all motorists flagged refused to stop. But a patrol team of policemen from Dugbe police station saw the commuter in distress and wasted no time to offer help. My friend @pablo4u1231 had a flat tyre yesterday on Iseyin-Ibadan highway. According to him, he flagged many motorists for help bcos his jack got spoiled in the process of trying to change d tyre but none of them stopped, understandably! …they rejected his plea. Their response “we didn’t stopped to assist you because of that, we are only doing our jobs”.
