2nd term: Amuwo -Odofin LG Chairman disengages all political appointees

Engr., Dr. Valentine Buraimoh on Friday, July 23 performed his last duty in office as Executive Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government for his 1st term in office by dissolving the cabinet and disengaging all political appointments and engagements.

This was contained in a statement by Yomi Adejumo, Chief Press Secretary to the Executive LG Chairman on Sunday.

According to him, the aforementioned covers:

– Secretary to the Local Government
– Supervisory Councillors
– Special Advisers
– Senior Special Assistants
– Heads of Special Committees etc.

He noted that the Executive Chairman applauded all who devoted time and energy to serve in the various capacities while admitting that the successes achieved in the last administration was possible by collective contributions.

He however enjoined all the affected to take the experience and devotion garnered over the last four years into new ventures and undertakings.
