The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 26 ships carrying petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected at Lagos ports.

The NPA disclosed this in its Daily Shipping Position on Monday in Lagos.

According ‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌to NPA, the vessels are expected to arrive between Aug. 30 and Sept. 13.

It said 12 of the expected vessels would carry containers of different goods, while four would berth with aviation fuel.

The authority added that 10 other vessels would berth with crude oil, petrol, sugar and bulk salt.

Meanwhile, the NPA said 13 ships and tanker vessels had arrived at the three ports and were waiting to berth.

It said the vessels were expected to discharge bulk urea, petrol, crude oil, diesel, bulk fertiliser and bulk wheat.

The NPA also stated that 19 ships were currently discharging bulk urea, containers, general cargoes, bulk pallets, diplomatic cargo, petrol and bulk gas.

The vessels were discharging at Lekki Deep Sea Port, Apapa and Tincan Island Port in Lagos.
