A total of 23 ships are discharging petroleum products and other commodities at Apapa, Lekki and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos, according to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Tuesday in Lagos.
The NPA also disclosed that the ships were discharging petrol, aviation fuel, bulk gas, base oil, bulk urea, containers, fertiliser, general cargo, bulk wheat, trucks and frozen fish.
Thirty three other ships, laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive the Lagos ports between Tuesday and May 15.
It said 10 ships had arrived at the ports and were waiting to berth with bulk urea, crude oil, bulk sugar, bulk fertilizer, bitumen, containers, general cargo and petrol.
