Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta Mandate ( APC Delta Mandate) have unanimously passed a vote of confidence in President Bola Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, commending their inspiring, purposeful and transformational leadership.

The motion, moved by the Pioneer Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Okoro, and seconded by the member representing Isoko South Constituency II, Hon. Ferguson Onwo, was unanimously adopted through a voice vote conducted by the National President of the group, Hon. Isaac Anwuzia, during a meeting held at the official residence of Hon. Onwo in the Legislative Quarters, Asaba.

Earlier, National President of APC Delta Mandate, Hon. Isaac Anwuzia, charged members to intensify grassroots mobilisation and consolidate support for all APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He said the Delta APC Mandate is a formidable political platform committed to advancing the fortunes of the APC in the state.

Anwuzia urged members to remain united and work tirelessly for the re-election of President Tinubu, Governor Oborevwori and the electoral success of all APC candidates, stressing that loyalty to Governor Oborevwori must translate into total commitment to the party’s victory.

He said:” Our message is one party, one mobilisation and one objective which is to deliver the APC across Delta State,” adding that electoral victories for the APC would create greater opportunities for appointments, empowerment and political advancement for party faithful.

In his remarks, the Delta State APC Chairman, Chief Solomon Areyenka, commended members of the group for remaining steadfast in promoting the achievements of the Tinubu-led Federal Government and the Oborevwori administration in Delta State.

He urged them to sustain the momentum and work for the victory of all APC candidates in future elections.

Addressing the gathering, the APC House of Representatives candidate for Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu, called on party members across Delta State to close ranks, forgive one another and work together to ensure total victory for the APC in the forthcoming elections.

He stressed that internal unity remained critical to sustaining the achievements of both President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori.

Elumelu expressed appreciation to Governor Oborevwori for the confidence reposed in those elected to represent their constituencies, describing the governor as “a good product” deserving the support of all Deltans.

“We are happy and grateful to the governor. He is a man we are proud of, and we are ready to tell the world that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is a good product,” he said.

He warned against anti-party activities, insisting that political appointees, elected officials and council chairmen must remain loyal to the APC.

According to him, it is unacceptable for individuals benefiting from government appointments to work against the party’s candidates during elections.

Elumelu urged the state leadership of the party to convene a meeting of all government appointees and elected officials to reinforce the need for loyalty, discipline and collective responsibility.

He also appealed to aspirants and party supporters to embrace reconciliation, noting that not everyone could emerge as the party’s candidate.

Other speakers, including Chief Lawrence Osiegbu, Hon Solomon Funkekeme, and Chief (Mrs.) Rosaline Amioku, highlighted the achievements of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori, urging members to intensify grassroots mobilisation while ensuring greater inclusion of youths in the party’s activities.
