2023: INEC TO OPEN PORTAL FOR RECRUITMENT OF AD HOC STAFF SEPT. 14

…Says interested applicants must not be political party members

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will open its portal for recruitment of ad hoc staff for the 2023 general elections.

In a statement on Wednesday the INEC urged interested and eligible persons to visit its designated portal.

The portal for application will open on Wednesday the 14th of September and end 30th November, 2022.

“The Commission has approved the re-activation of INECPRES both the Mobile App for Android phones only and the web portal (laptops only).

“To this end, the portal will be open to eligible applicants for registration of all categories of ad-hoc staff (SPO/PO/APO/RATECHS/RAC Managers) except the Collation officers.

“The portal opens on Wednesday the 14th of September by 8am and would be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 14, by 8p.m.

It added that the help desk details were : Vanity number: 0700-CALL-INEC; and Email address: pres@inec.gov.ng, while phone numbers of specific officers per state are detailed on the portal.

“A link to the INECPRES is also available at the INEC website www.inecnigeria.org

“All applicants are encouraged to fill the registration forms online – The MOBILE APP (for android phone only) or web portal (using the laptop/PCs) to be eligible for consideration as ad hoc staff in 2023 General Election.”

The commission asides from listing the qualifications for each category of ad hoc to be recruited added that applicants must not be political party members.

“Applicants must not have demonstrated or expressed support for any candidate or party.

“Applicants must reside in the STATE selected.”
