ALHAJI ABDULRAHMAN MUSA BASHIR (Rahamaniyya): Putting Sokoto and Nigeria on the path of socio-economic development

Admin August 22, 2025

Infrastructures development is crucial for Nigeria’s economic growth and particularly States in the country where millions of people live with significant investments in transportation, agriculture, energy, education and provision of jobs for the people aimed at enhancing connectivity and improving the quality of life.

One of the drivers of this national development agenda in Sokoto State, and Nigeria at large is Alhaji Abdulrahman Musa Bashir popularly known as Rahamaniyya. For over twenty years, Alhaji Bashir has embarked on numerous infrastructure projects within Sokoto and other part of the country aimed at fostering economic growth of the nation

For instance, his business orientation in Energy, Agriculture, Transportation and providing prosperous job opportunities for over one hundred thousand Nigerians across all the sectors devoid of tribe, religion or culture of both genders are second to none.

Rahamaniyya investments in energy through its oil and gas depots across Lagos, Delta, portharcourt and over three hundred Mega and mini-oil and Gas filling stations across all the states of the Federation speaks loud volumes. Today, the footprints are now providing thousands of jobs while its value chains and development opportunities are visible for over one hundred thousand Nigerians.

Abdulrahman Bashir ‘s investments in the Agricultural development sector is by Creating Mega Farms across Sokoto State and some states in the northern part of Nigeria, coupled with Establishment of a Multi billion dollar fertilizer production company in Asare site of Wamakko Local Government Area, which provides jobs for over a thousand people from both Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara and Niger states.

This fertilizer production company is producing high quality fertilizer brands that are used by farmers to grow notable high profile food products for all seasons in Sokoto state and many other states in Nigeria.

Economic impact research indicates that infrastructure development significantly influences Nigeria’s economic growth especially in states where governments are less investing in the sectors.

With these huge investments by organizations like Rahamaniyya Nigeria’s economic infrastructure growth is gaining popularity despite the challenges of the bad and unfavorable economic atmosphere the nation is posing to them.

Rahamaniyya’s drive in social development initiative is quite impressive which has been ongoing over twenty years ago that includes provision of assorted food stuffs, clothing materials, building materials, and medical and educational support to thousands of less privileged Nigerians of all ages in Sokoto state and other places .

Rahamaniyya is indeed a national development icon to reckon with going by his contributions to the growth of Nigeria’s economic infrastructure and Social Sectors.

As part of encouragement, support for this singular effort, the governments of Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara states should consider it a duty bound in patronizing Rahamaniyya fertilizer and promoting its production and sales capabilities for it to be strengthened in future production and performance.

Also, there is the need for the federal government of Nigeria to not only continue to join hands with Rahamaniyya in its perpetual economic development drive for national prosperity but also honorably and outstandingly Honor Alhaji Abdulrahman Musa Bashir with a presidential National Honors Recognition for encouragement.
