The Chairman  of Labour Party, Comrade Julius Abure, has been arrested by the police in Benin City, Edo State.

His arrest  according to Party insiders, was a fall out of the crisis rocking the Party.

Recently the Party top hierarchy had been accused of gross financial heist by the treasurer,  Ms. Oluchi Oparah.

Abure and Oparah had been trading accusation which has prompted the leadership of the party to cause to be conducted an audit of the ledger of the party.

Neither the police nor the party has given reason why Abure was nabbed.
