Rt Hon Ehie Edison
A High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has confirmed Edison Ehie as the authentic speaker of Rivers state House of Assembly.
Edison Ehie is leader of the four lawmakers in the camp of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
He was suspended and removed as leader of the House by his colleagues in the midst of the crisis at the House of Assembly in October.
By this ruling, Fubara has gained an upper hand in the political dogfight with his godfather Nyesom Wike and this spells doom for the 27 lawmakers who defected from PDP to APC on Monday.
