The Independent National Electoral Commission has, true to projection, postponed the governorship and state assembly elections till March 18.
The exercise was previously scheduled to hold on March 11, but INEC, citing logistics crisis arising from BVAS configuration, said the election could not hold again as scheduled.
INEC held a top level meeting of its executives on Wednesday evening after court permitted reconfiguration of the BVAS used in the presidential election.
