Hon. Mrakpor, member representing the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, was elected in 2015.
According to Comrade Jones Ofunne, president general of Ubulu-Uku Development Council (UDC), Mrs. Mrakpor has been a worthy representative of the community and the entire constituency. “She has been outstanding in the House and through her, Ubulu-Uku has benefited immensely as she has facilitated increased government presence in the town,” Ofunne said.
Also speaking on the event, Sir Byron Unini, chairman of the Planning Committee, said Mrakpor has given her constituency a new and respected voice in the House. “The four local government areas that make up Aniocha- Oshimili federal constituency have witnessed a new level of representation, benefits and government presence since Hon. Mrakpor came to the House. It’s no surprise that she is fondly called Ada Anioma,” Unini said.
“We are very proud of her and the bold and fearless manner she takes on issues that touch on the development of Ubulu-Uku and the entire federal constituency. She is a strong advocate of engaging the younger generation in gainful ventures and never misses any opportunity to empower them,” he said.
The ceremony will hold at Ubulu Model Primary School, Ubulu-Uku.
