The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the election of Gov. Simi Fubara of Rivers.

Justice Ibrahim Saulawa dismissed the appeal by the APC and its governorship candidate, Tonye Cole for lacking in merit.

The court held that the appellant did not prove the allegations of non compliance with the Electoral Act among others.
