Popular gospel music minister and songwriter, Dunsin Oyekan, has given insight into the terrible accident he and his crew had on Lagos/Ibadan expressway in which their Toyota Land Cruiser PRADO ran under a trailer.

Nobody died in the mangled Toyota SUV but it was an instant write off as it got badly damaged on impact with the trailer.

It was gathered that Oyekan and his crew were on their way to the Sword of the Spirit Ministries of Bishop Francis Wale Oke for the ongoing Holy Ghost convention as the Youth Rally commenced on Saturday.

After the accident he and his crew continued their journey and made it to the event leaving the vehicle, a complete scrap, behind.

However, testifying later, the gospel musician thanked God for His mercy.

He said: “If you saw the accident scene that I came out of, you can never believe that I walked out of that incident alive. And to think that we were coming here, and I said let me sleep a bit so that I can be refreshed a bit and the next thing I saw, I just knew we were somewhere. I didn’t know that the jeep had gone under a trailer. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death….So if you are looking for a miracle, this is a miracle standing here..”

Oyekan is one of the versatile gospel singers in Nigeria whose impact extends beyond the shores of the country.
