The Nigeria oil and gas industry is without doubt important to the economy of the nation, as key stakeholders come together at this year’s Oil Trade and Logistics Expo event to discuss the way forward in the nation’s petroleum downstream sector, the organisers say the event will cut across a strong value-chain that includes refining, trading, shipping, storage, haulage, distribution, marketing, equipment manufacturing and supplies, regulation and varied associated professional services, OTL Africa Downstream 2014 will offer opportunity for products and services showcase, high-level networking, business match-making and learning.
Being the continent’s premier summit of players in petroleum products trading marketing and supply industry, the 8th edition of OTL Africa Downstream will hold from 28-30 October 2014 at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. At this year’s event, the OTL downstream innovation challenge will be unveiled; with a focus on enhancing industry value through increased efforts in Research and Development. The challenge the organisers said, will be open to individuals and organisations who have developed solutions which they consider could significantly increase value, productivity and efficiency in any aspect of business and operations in the downstream petroleum value chain.
