Premier League: Club sacks Ndidi, Iheanacho’s manager
Premier League side Leicester City said on Sunday they have parted ways with manager Claude Puel, with first team coaches Mike Stowell and Adam Sadler set to take charge of the squad until a new manager is appointed.
“The club would like to thank Claude for his efforts in leading the team during his 16 months in the role and wish him well in his future career,” the 12th-placed Leicester said in a statement.
Leicester since winning the Premier League in grand fashion under Italian manager Ranieri had been struggling in the current season.
The club featuring two Nigerians, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho, has been losing most of their matches the most recent being the scandalous 1-4 defeat suffered at home in the hand of Crystal Place.
