IGP Mohammed Adamu

A massive redeployment of senior police officers has been announced by the Acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.

The deployment affects over 50 senior officers including assistant inspector-generals and commissioners of police.

The deployment sees new commissioners of police in states like Lagos, Oyo, Kwara and Anambra.

The announcement was made by the Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba.

According to the statement, “following the decoration of newly promoted Assistant Inspectors General of Police and Commissioners of Police at the Force Headquarters today 6th February, 2019 the Inspector General of Police, Ag. IGP Adamu has ordered the posting and redeployment of the following Senior Police Officers to Zones, Formations and Commands as follows”:

The posting and the redeployment of the affected Senior Police Officers is with immediate effect
