Three frontline journalists – Felix Ofou, Norbert Chiazor and Pius Mordi – have launched a flagship newspaper, “DELTA REVEALED”, to amplify the development agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and articulate the needs of Deltans in the democratic setting.

The weekly newspaper made its debut Monday, June 24, 2024 with vintage news reports and articles coordinated by Ofou, Executive Assistant, New Media, Chiazor, Executive Assistant, Media and Mordi, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor.

Designed to be read as hard and electronic copy, “DELTA REVEALED” is a special feature presentation propagating the programmes and policies of the Oberevwori administration, while serving as voice of the people and feedback platform.

Unveiling the newspaper before professional colleagues, Ofou who is the publisher, said it is intended to explain Gov. Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda and vision towards advancing Delta.

“DELTA REVEALED is a unique newspaper. A delightful package of steps and styles of Oborevwori as governor, the dreams and duties of Deltans as critical stakeholders in governance.

“The publication is about Oborevwori and M.O.R.E. in all facets of development, more roads, more infrastructure, more opportunities, more empowerment for all Deltans. It will cover politics and people as well as urban and rural landscapes of Delta”, Ofou said.

Also speaking Comrade Chiazor, Editor -in Chief of DELTA REVEALED, said it is “a showpiece of exciting reports and narratives produced in the finest traditions of journalism”.

The Editor, Mr. Mordi, said the newspaper would bring to the fore under reported stories on the Oborevwori administration as well as Delta and expressed confidence that with the “parade of a crack reportorial and editorial team of seasoned journalists and sharp-witted writers, the excitement in Delta will be revealed”.

DELTA REVEALED is a full colour human interest newspaper to be circulated in Delta and Edo states with strong online presence, accessed world wide on the internet.
