Oborevwori congratulates ‘Welfare Champion’ Roli Uduaghan at 63
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated Mrs Roli Uduaghan, wife of former Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, on her 63rd birth anniversary.
Governor Oborevwori in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, praised Mrs Uduaghan for being a kind woman as well as a pillar of strength for her husband.
While praising her altruism, he recalled her ‘I CARE’ initiative, which she had implemented during her husband’s administration, to improve the lives of many people, especially widows and prisoners.
He said: ”On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta, I heartily congratulate our former First Lady, Mrs Roli Nere Uduaghan, on the occasion of her 63rd birth anniversary.
”We join you and your family in giving thanks to the Almighty Father for 63 significant years of service to Him (God) and our people. Reaching the age of 63 in grace, sustained fear of God, and devotion to humanity is a cause for celebration.
”You have consistently demonstrated your love and dedication to the welfare of the underprivileged, particularly the widows and inmates in our beloved state of Delta.
”As an advocate of widows’ and children’s rights, your campaign for meaningful life for them has yielded positive results in the state as we have continued with the Delta State Widows’ Welfare Scheme to alleviate the plight of the poor and vulnerable widows.
”On the 63rd anniversary of your birth, I pray that God will continue to honour you and grant you good health to enable you render more service to Him and humanity.”
