NNPC Insists no increase in depot price of fuel in March
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on Friday insisted that there is no increment in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) also known as petrol this month.
NNPC announced this in a series of tweets on Friday.
This was in reaction to the trend on social media with the hashtag #FuelPriceHike with users reacting to a template released by the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPRA) which shows that the new price of petrol has reached N212.6 per litre.
The ex-depot price is the price at which the product is sold by the NNPC to marketers at the depots.
NNPC in the tweet ruled out any increment in the ex-depot price.
“#NNPC Insists No Increase in Ex-Depot Price of PMS in March,” it simply tweeted.
