Mammoth crowd welcomes Peter Obi to Kaduna as Obi-Datti promises jobs
A huge crowd of supporters was on hand to welcome Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, to the party’s campaign rally in Kaduna.
Ahead of his arrival at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, throngs of supporters had arrived at the venue some bearing different types of banners and messages.
While in Kaduna, Obi and his running mate, Senator Yusuf Datti Ahmed held a townhall meeting with a cross section of academicians where he espoused his ideals and vision to create jobs, secure Nigeria and ensure food security for the nation.
“We will secure Nigeria, invest in agriculture, move Nigeria from consumption to production, listen and dialogue with agitators, build inclusive government involving the women and youths,” he said
Labour Party guber candidate in Kaduna, Jonathan Asake and other big wigs in the party were among those who welcomed Obi to the state.
The women wing of the party also joined the throng to support of the Obi-Datti ticket.
