The Bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Sokoto State, Matthew Kukah no Nigerian can understand why the President is silent on the killing of unarmed protesters at the Lekki tollgate on Tuesday.
Kukah who made an appearance on Channels TV’s Politics Today on Wednesday noted that 24hrs later, the President has still not spoken.
“We are not going to see the end of this…we do not get a sense that there is any genuine concern or empathy”.
“We have only one commander-in-chief in the Federal Republic of Nigeria and for every crime or action committed by a person in uniform, it is the duty of the commander-in-chief who decides what happens”.
