Klopp to quit Liverpool, Xabi Alonso in line as next Anfield gaffer
Jurgen Klopp has announced he is leaving Liverpool at the end of the season and ex-Liverpool and Real Madrid player Xabi Alonso is strongly hinted to replace him.
Klopp, 56, informed the club’s ownership of his decision to stand down, having taken charge at Liverpool since 2015, an eventful memory during which he won six trophies with the Reds, including the Premier League and Champions League
Klopp has confirmed to LFCTV he will leave the club at the end of this season after admitting he is struggling with his ‘energy’ for the job
His tipped successor, Alonso, has worked under Guardiola, Mourinho and Ancelotti and he is said to possess a bag full of tricks and strategies in his coaching duties.
