Jonathan is a Man of History, Says T.Y Danjuma
For willingly acknowledging defeat at the Presidential poll, President Goodluck Jonathan has continued to receive commendation from far and near.
Former Chief of Defence Staff, General Theophilus Danjuma, who was in Aso Rock Wednesday in preparation for the presidential inauguration on May 29, 2015 described the President as a man fated to history. General Danjuma who was said to have returned from offshore from where he had gone for medical attention breezed into the Presidential Villa to visit the President. The details of what was discussed by both men were not revealed to news men.
General Danjuma described President Jonathan as a man of history. He recalled the events of the civil war and said if Ojukwu had surrendered after the capture of Enugu it would have saved the nation of bloodshed. He said President Goodluck Jonathan has set a record and something to be emulated by African leaders and indeed the whole wide world. This is second time the President will be meeting General Danjuma. The president has also met with the President -elect General Muhammadu Buhari in preparation for the hand over
