Injoo makes huge impact at launch, experts laud innovative features
Former Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigeria Communications Commission, NCC, and Chairman Alliance for Affordable Internet, Dr. Ernest Ndukwe and the Chairman of Technology Distribution Group, Mr. Leo Stan Ekeh have lauded InnJoo’s innovative strength in the area of mobile technology as the company launched its latest mobile innovation; InnJoo Max 3.
Speaking at the launch, Ndukwe who pioneered the telecommunications revolution in Nigeria as then EVC of the NCC said that InnJoo Max3 will be a toast of tech-savvy Nigerian youths who want to get the best out of the device. “People are looking at how everyday they can improve the versatility of the handset that they’re using. The market will welcome InnJoo Max 3 with open hands because of the screen size which will make it attractive to young people as well as other features which gives it an edge in the market.
“Most importantly, InnJoo will capture the market segment that is focused on Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), because you can conveniently send, and receive emails or carry out some official assignments with Max 3”.
According to Ndukwe who recalled how the telecoms revolution started in Nigeria, “we never knew how much impact the telecoms revolution would have on the nation and since then the telecoms industry is impacting all other industries in Nigeria. Mobile phones have become very important gadgets and adaptive in all spheres of life. This is why when a new product comes to the stable and has the kind of feature that the Max 3 is providing, I think it should have a good market in this country. A good smartphone coming with right prices will sell, because in as much as people care about the price they also want and deserve better quality”.

On his part, the Chairman Technology Distribution, TD, sole partners for InnJoo phones distribution in Nigeria, Chief Leo Stan-Ekeh, said the country has become a mature market in terms of quality phone products.
Ekeh added that they believe in the innJoo brand after taking their profile before TD signed them up. “Every company we partnered with in this country is number one. We bring in the best and we want to give Nigerians an exciting smartphone experience and because you’re spending your money you must have a choice”.

He however advised the OEM to align with local manufacturers in the production of its hardware and software, “as a local innovator, we understand the market and know that standard is key to penetrate the environment. I’m assuring you that TD will be the last company to fold up, by the grace of God and we will not retrench any staff unless such a person is incompetent or steals. It is a promise we’ve made”.
Earlier in his opening remark, the President InnJoo, Mr. Jack Lee said that the company has tried to understand the Nigerian market and knowing what consumers want they have come up with the InnJoo Max 3 were to give users unrivaled smartphone user experience.
According to him, Max 3 is a sleek and premium-looking device that would go a long way in meeting the needs and aspirations of millions of Nigerians in search of a high-powered mobile device at a cost that makes sense in line with current economic realities.
“Nigeria is the first African country where Max 3 is launched instead of the other 40 countries because we know that we cannot take Africa without taking Nigeria and very few people know the potential of Nigeria . Mr. Rakesh Rocque, country manager, InnJoo Mobile said that Max 3 comes fully equipped with a 4000mAh long-life battery designed in line with consideration of the power situation in the country to offer the user over 2 day-long normal usage and 19 hours phone call time with a single charge.
InnJoo Max 3 which also features an epic six-inch High Definition (HD) screen with fingerprint technology that is built around an all-metal body design and the first time applied 2.5D diamond-cut glass will be in the market beginning 2nd August 2016.
