The Police Command in Kaduna State, has said security operatives have been deployed to the general area for search and rescue operation following attack by gunmen on Greenfield University on Tuesday evening.

The university located along Kaduna-Abuja highway, was attacked at about 8:35p.m on Tuesday.

The gunmen suspected to be kidnappers stormed the school on Tuesday night, abducting an unspecified number of students.

The school is said to be the first private university in the state, established three years ago.
