Four Military men, two policemen, others arrested for aiding Boko Haram insurgents
Two Officers of the Nigerian Army are 30 collaborators with Boko Haram terrorists who have been sabotaging the fight against terrorism and insurgency, Army Spokesman, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, said on Tuesday evening.
Their arrest opens a new vista into how the insurgents have been able to counter strategic intelligent moves of the Nigerian troops.
The Army spokesman disclosed that investigations have “led to the arrest of 9 more persons over the last 24 hours, thus bringing the number to 30. This comprises 2 officers, 2 soldiers, 2 policemen and 26 civilians.”
The Acting Director of Army Public Relations did not give the names of the suspects but assured in a statement that “many more suspects would be arrested and prosecuted based on evidences against them and level of culpability.”
