Drive-by gunmen shoot at diners in a market restaurant , kill 4

There was wailing and weeping in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State as unknown gunmen Tuesday night stormed Anara market, a popular market in the area and unleashed bullets on the people.
Three persons, including an Okada rider, were said to have died inside the market causing other traders and their customers to flee to safety. Another victim reportedly died in a nearby hospital bringing the death toll of attack to four.
The gunmen were said to have driven by in a Sienna vehicle and shot indiscriminately at people eating in a restaurant by the market without stepping down from their moving vehicle.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Michael Abattam, confirmed that the state Commissioner of Police, Rabiu Hussaini, had ordered investigation into the incident.
The local government has enjoyed relative peace and was not part of the state where gunmen had caused mayhem in recent months.
